Build-A-Jedi
Well, I finally went to Build-A-Bear Workshop ! I took a Bearamy Bear, a Star Wars sound affect, a jedi suit ( with a lightsaber ), and boots and made a Jedi. I named him Bosco after Bosco in Avatar: The Last Airbender. His Bearthday is March 27, 2011, weight 6 ounces, height 15 inches, fur color is light brown, and eye color is brown.
The Building Process
Step 1 : Choosing the Bear Design
Well, there was a lot to choose from, some were wolves, lambs , and other bears. there were four bears that I liked the most but in the end i chose the bear thats fur looked most like Bosco’s, from Avatar: The Last Airbender which was Bearamy. We saw some other bears. One of the bears we saw plays music on it by connecting your Ipod into it. A bunny we saw was E.B from the new movie called Hop with Russell Brand in it.
Step 2: Choosing a Sound Affect
This part was optional. There were 23 sounds to choose from, some are Selena Gomez’s “It’s Magic” , The Star Wars Theme, Dog, and Monkey Sounds. I decided to use the Star Wars Theme Song because we came there the day before and chose what he would look like and sound he would have.
Step Three: Stuff the Bear
Next we got in line to stuff the bear. We saw some kids that were really cute. When it was my turn i went up with pride i wasnt afraid of getting teased that i went to Build-A-Bear as a ten-year-old. So we put the sound in the left hand of my bear and stuffed it. But before we could sew it we had to pick out a heart a chose a red one. So i rubbed on funny bone to make it funny, on my forehead to make it smart, on my knee to make it grow ,made an undisclosed wish and kissed it.
Step Four: Choosing An Outfit
Since we got a Star Wars sound affect it influenced me to get a Star Wars costume.We looked at other costumes which were cool a LA lakers Jersey, and a Sacramento Kings Jersey as you will see in my video. When we got to the Star Wars costume section we had to get my bears BHS ( Bear Height Size ) it was a Fifteen inch which was exactly my bears size. There was a C-3PO, Commander Rex, Darth Vader, and a Jedi costume. I didnt want him to have a mask which put out C-3PO, Rex, and Vader s that left the jedi costume and also i wanted boots so we got that too.
Step Five: Dressing the Bear
So we went to the Dressing ‘ room ‘ ( station ) to dress it. So we the first try we got the pants on the wrong way but we got it right. There we saw my bears dressed twin. we had lots of trouble i thought that the shirt had to be put on like a regular shirt not realizing there was velcro on the back. when we finished we set out to register it.
Step Six: Registering your bear
I registered it and it printed my bears Bearth Certificate. This part requires lots of personal info so this is all i can say.
